Marc, >From a reference point of V6.0.02 Is your Master Scheduled flag set to M or N in MRP140 if your system is facility specific (or INV100 if not). MRP500 only generates planned orders for "M" items (I don't know what MRP600 would do, as we don't run that). The Master Scheduled flag is the first thing I look at on items not generating planned orders. Hope this helps Nancy Adamson Mother Parker's Tea & Coffee Mississauga, Ont "Lacelle, Marc" <LACELLE@rcmint.ca>@midrange.com on 10/17/2001 02:16:32 PM Please respond to bpcs-l@midrange.com Sent by: bpcs-l-admin@midrange.com To: "'BPCS-L@midrange.com'" <BPCS-L@midrange.com> cc: Fax to: Subject: MRP300D This message is in MIME format. Since your mail reader does not understand this format, some or all of this message may not be legible. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] V61.01 MM AS/400 I have a situation where I cannot figure out why a certain item is not calculating when I run MRP500 and MRP600. When I use MRP300D and view the item in question, I see on the header info "Activity ÐY". I know this field comes from the CIC data or MRP140. If I blank this field out for that specific item and re-run MRP500, MRP600 and returns to status "Y" and again fails to calculate. How does this field get to the "Y" status and how can I prevent it from going to a "Y".
