Once order has partial shipments it cannot be deleted in BPCS. In order to close partially shipped order the following can be done: 1) Lines that have no shipments can be deleted, that includes special lines. 2)Lines with partial shipments - Qty ordered must be reduced to quantity shipped. This will close the line. These actions will close the order and make it eligible for purge base on the history parameters setting. All lines have been shipped complete. 3 lines had the status showing they were still open. This order is long gone, so I changed the status to C and 00001. I also changed the status on the header to be 00001. When I try to delete the order through order maintenance, I get the message 'This order cannot be deleted - some lines already have shipments against them. ' Any ideas on what I can do to get this order deleted? <===================================================> Terri Harteau **************** Civilization is doomed: children no longer obey their parents, crime is rampant, the world is becoming polluted and everywhere people fight unnecessary wars. >From a Babylonian tablet c. 4000 years ago **************** _______________________________________________ This is the SSA's BPCS ERP System (BPCS-L) mailing list To post a message email: BPCS-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/bpcs-l or email: BPCS-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/bpcs-l.
