batch allocation

we are using BPCS V6.1.01 full client server

When we run our batch allocation(ORD400D) for a wide date range 01/01/00
through 12/31/01 BPCS will not allocate everything that can be allocated in
this date range.  i still have this problem with smaller 3 month date
ranges.

If i go back and do it week by week it will pick up the items missed.

does anyone have a fix / workaround / solution for this?
