From within the BPCS main menu system type DOC230 <Enter>, <Enter> at pop up, and read the Logic Manual. This will give you a brief overview of the system and standards that BPCS is based on. It won't give you everything but it is a start. The other thing I did was go through the AS/SET tutorial. After that, look at some of the BPCS programs in the repository.
