Feroz, We are currently using BPCS 6.1.00. with Warehouse Management switched on. When you run month end procedures and cleanups, depending on your Setup, you will find that, if for some reason the IPI record was not deleted when doing a Replen/Ship/etc. the month end programs will automatically "Rebuild" the qty up from IPI to ILI, IWI etc. Have a look at IPI records ( Option 22 WHM) and Option 23 - Balance inquiry. We found that these two balance inquiries differs due to this. This will only happen with WHM is switched on. The fact that the IPI records does not get deleted is a BPCS BUG. ( PS Hopefully not in 6.1.0.1. as you have) Regards Herman feroz khan <feroz4u@yahoo.com>@Midrange.com on 20/06/2001 08:59:04 Please respond to BPCS-L@Midrange.com Sent by: owner-bpcs-l@Midrange.com To: BPCS-L@Midrange.com cc: Subject: Onhand quantity. Dear friends, Hello We are on BPCS Ver6.1.01. Everymonth we find few items whose facilty/comp level onhand qty is different from that of its global. Items are not lot controlled. ILI file has the correct data. But, when we look at the IWI, we find more than one record of similar ware house for the same item with some unknown quantities in receipts, opening balance, issues and adjustments fields. And, these quantities makes the difference at the facility level and global level onhand quantities. I trace this by matching IWI & ILI with an Sql. Please advise us if anyone has faced a similar problem, why does it happen, and the action taken to correct it. Thanx Feroz Khan Banawi Industrial Group Jeddah. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
