Glen,

It is entirely possible that there is some bad allocation data in the
warehouse inventory file.  Run INV300 for the item, go to the warehouse
inventory screen and fold it.  If the total warehouse allocation quantity is
not correct, it will cause allocation problems.  There could also be some
unattached allocations on the ELA file.  There are two programs in the SYS,
reorganizations menu that will correct these problems (SYS990 and ORD970).  
As always, read the precautions in the help text before running these.
