We have done the same as Don Lynch of Interface Solutions, Inc..
As well as checking throughout the month, the checking of the files as also
become part of our month end procedures in order to avoid any program looping
problems.

Subject: Duplicate Lot Records
We run BPCS 6.0.04 (with the 'July99 cumulative BMR' applied) on an AS400 & get
occasional lot records with the same lot number but different item numbers. The
system parameter 'Use Multiple Items per Lot' has always been set-to NO - so
this should not be possible.....
Has anyone experienced this & do you have any advice ?
