We are also on BPCS CD (REL02). It is a very stable version and satisfies our requirements. All the date fields are correct and use the full 8 character format so you should have no problems with interfaces etc. There are also 3rd Party add-on products readily available on the market which interface with BPCS CD. (Electronic Banking, Web Interface etc.) BPCS CD is only being supported by SSA up to 30/06/2002 which may be of concern. However BMRs are still being issued and there should be little or no open BMRs by then. BPCS CD was released as an interim solution pending migrating to V6 or whatever. There appears to be lots of BPCS CD installations out there and I would also be very interested in hearing comments from other BPCS CD customers regarding their upgrade plans for the future. I understand also that SSA GT will be making available conversion programs to go directly from BPCS CD to V6.1. Up to now it would have been necessary to go from BPCS CD back to V4.3 and then from there to V6.1 However a possible area of concern for us would be if we moved to BPCS CDE (Euro compliant version). There have been very few BMRs completed for CDE.
