From Al Macintyre Thanks for prompt guidance from several people. Roger BMR 48509 has been zipped and is now in /ftp/as400/as400/v4005 as CBP48509C.zip This BMR is an additional fix for payment date calculation problems in ACP500 at 405 CD Rel 02. If you do not have it, you might check OSG to find out what it is supposed to fix & if that is a problem you are at risk of. I am attempting to get it via QIC tape because we are klutzes when it comes to getting downloads uploaded to our 400. Our incident # is 1-01-746898 Genyphyr Thanks for tipping me off to a useful OSG document. The way I got to this (after a number of detours) was from the main entry http://osg.ssax.com home client case sensitive password welcome ... down the left side at the bottom of PRODUCT SUPPORT Technical Documentation Well I tried various filters looking for BMR Change Document, which I found at http://ogs.ssax.com/lvlone/bmrs/docs/bmrchang.doc Our general practice with BMRs once we get them loaded to a 400 library & we like to have both object & source, but I do not know how SSA GT policies will shift on this, is. Look at what is there, because sometimes it is not a simple matter of the program in the front of the library list - sometimes something has to be added to a message file for example. Then we figure out how the BMR can be tested without updating our LIVE *LIBL because we have had BMRs in the past & also major collections called PTF-1 for example whose implementation messed something up. Then after our users have given the go ahead to implement, which in some cases they can do without any testing, I alter the LIVE *LIBL so that the BMR is in front of prior versions of the software being fixed. If we have no further problems, then after 6 months or so, I move the BMR to a library which has a collection of BMRs that are ahead of the latest release, so as not to clog up our library list. Periodically review disk space policies ... currently our BPCS software is taking up more disk space than our BPCS files & we do have several files with millions of records. If & when we have modified the software involved, it is rather more complicated than this general procedure.
