i've written a program to resequence the ITH sequence numbers but it doesn't
include a purge function. i don't think it would be hard to write your own
purge and resequence program. all i basically do is read the ITH records in
date/time sequence and reassign sequence numbers. you also have to update the
ITH sequence number field on the IIM record.

Has anyone (running 6.004) modded INV903 to purge/reseq the ITH records without
doing a month end close??? SSA has an enhancement BMR on it (30979) but I'm
trying to do this for tomorrow's month end... My predecessor etc.. had never
run the purge during the close, so we've got 3+ years of data in the ITH for
INV920 and INV903 to wade through... With month end being in the middle of the
week this month, I don't have a lot of time to let these churn through...

TIA,
Nick
