We use SPM 5.2.02 with the BPCS CD interface. Yes it is possible to re-align data in SPM. First go into 'Work with change sets' (STWRKSET) Here a table is set up with search and replace keys. e.g. search for a particular customer number and replace the rep no for that customer with a new rep number. When the table is completed 'Apply change sets data' ((STAPYSET) is run which actually changes the data in SPM. Great care should be taken. If you are not familiar with this area you could get a better understanding by reading the last chapter of the SPM Reference Manual SSARUN39. This includes some examples. You may also need to re-align your forecast. If there is a lot of data to be changed, setting up a change set could be quite tedious. Sometimes it is easier to run 'Clear sales data' (STCLRSLS) and then re-run the import directly from the SIH and SIL (as mentioned by Lisa below). When the sales are being re-imported, the SPM analysis codes as they currently exist on the IIM, RCM etc. will be used to rebuild SPM. However it will also use the current standard cost and if you track margins in SPM, then they would be incorrect if your standards changed since the first import. We rebuilt our SPM history every month to reflect changes in item class, salesman, etc. While there was a great deal of discussion about this, the uses finally agreed that the invoice data would remain static, but that SPM needed to refled the business as it was organized "today", not what it was like when it happened. A request has come up to change some of our SCRF's in the customer master. My question is if anyone out there is using SPM along with BPCS how are you handling past history when a change needs to be made?
