When SSA moved from V5.1 to V6.x it started using more SQL imbedded RPG. The 
old AS/400's cannot handle this as efficiently as the newer models.  My 
experience is that the AS/400 for V6.x needs to be around 1.5 to 2 times 
'bigger' than for the older versions of BPCS. All of the programs you listed 
are classic examples of this performance issue.

I would suggest that you go through a new sizing exercise with SSA/GT with 
thier lastest sizing questionaire.  It will help you decide the system size 
that you need to run V6.x
