The way that account balances are held in 4.05 is the reason that the
maintenance programs won't allow creation of additional future years.
Basically there are a fixed number of fields for period debits and
credits. There shouldn't be a problem with inserting additional years
into the GPM file provided you don't want to hold any account balance
details in them.
