E-mail the specifications to me directly - KMiller@SSAX.com I'm on the product
development committe and will forward your request to the team for review. The
2001 releases are pretty locked in so I know it won't get into them, however the
spring 2002 release may be a possibilty. I will also compare the Spec's to what
we plan to do in SFC for May 2001. Sounds like an interesting enhancement, I
have a lot of questions about it but would prefer to see your spec first.

Let me be the first, I think, to put in an actual, practical, request for
V9.

I have a few strictly make to order, engineered to order clients. Again and
again I have come across a requirement to be able to make a shop order with
multiple line items (combining the BOMs mainly, for a group of items).

I know we can make shop orders for all the products and then concentrate
them into one Master Shop order, however, what we are trying to do is to
minimize the number of shop orders, specially when from an operations point
of view, costing and reporting needs to be done for all these products
together.

If somebody at SSA is listening and needs clarification, please contact me
through this list or at IMCO99@hotmail.com and I will be happy to go over
the specifics since I have been working very hard at trying to find a work
around that is satisfactory to my clients and none is 100% so.

Thank you,

Ruben Mirensky.
