Do not be silent merely from one comment.  Your input is both needed and 
appreciated.  It took far too many years to get input on this list from SSA 
employees that could freely acknowledge themselves as such -- don't let the 
same thing happen with SSA Global Technologies.  Hey, you've seen how 
Genephyr and I spar from time to time, and _she's_ certainly not giving up 
;-)!  Nor would I expect her to.

Discourse is part of this list, and it sometimes becomes heated when two 
parties feel strongly about their respective positions.  In the heat of that 
discourse, _ALL_ sides sometimes state things more strongly than they would 
have preferred to.  That doesn't mean that we can't all go out later, have an 
adult beverage, and laugh about how ridiculous we got.  A single note is 
certainly no reason to capitulate, especially when nothing you said was even 
1/10th as offensive as some of the things the moderator of this list has 
posted over the past two weeks ;-).

Believe in the courage of your convictions, in the end, they're all that you 
have.  Stick around -- it only gets better with practice...
