if i understand what you are asking for we just did it! once you understand how
all of the programs work together it turns out to be pretty easy. we have
automated our nightly billing, using robot, so that we select and process
invoices totally in batch. as distributed bpcs wants you to run BIL501B
interactively which selects invoices to be processed. once you select the
invoices you are given the option of producing the invoices interactively or
via a batch process. the real trick is to get BIL501B to select invoices via a
batch job. the neat thing about getting this to work is that we are using all
native BPCS programs, we've just had to get BIL501B to be submitted to batch
via ROBOT rather than being invoked by in interactive session.

Barry--

Contact me off line. I can tell you how to change two CL programs and
capture the information that you need in Robot every time you want it. It
is pretty simple.

Have a pleasant day!
