Most of the Software User Groups (SWUGs) that I know about are affiliated with or sponsored by a Regional Software Vendor, most of which have relevant newsletters that give the details of the meetings to benefit their customers. In these circles the SWUG & LUG is often better understood or known about than Common. I also see a lot of synergy there ... Common offer directory of their existance, that helps UG in neighbor communities find out about each other, which makes it easier to dig up monthly program topics, new audiences find out about Common, and Common taps into more folks who can do great seminars & vendors who perhaps should be exhibiting at Common. > From: dr2@cssas400.com (Don) > > the reason I'm curious is that I also happen to be the Chair of the Common > User Group Committee, which is the liason arm between Common and user > groups worldwide. And, I'm enhancing the committee to include Software > User Groups (SWUGs) in addition to the traditional Local User > Groups(LUGs). Frankly, I see ALOT of synergy potential there.... > > Don in DC Al Macintyre ©¿© http://www.cen-elec.com MIS Manager Programmer & Computer Janitor +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +---
