EDI and E-Mail

Two individual issues I would appreciate input about.

First, Harbinger is going to stop supporting the BPCS EDI package in favor of a
new spruced up "Premenous" package.  In my discussions with Harbinger they
really are not offering much of a migration to the new software, although they
are more then willing to come and help us out.  My question here is, has anybody
made this conversion yet and if so how did it go?  Also, are there any BPCS
users out there using a different package for EDI, Extol etc. and if so a brief
word about how it went and potentially a phone number to discuss off line.

Second, we have several applications that we would like to E-Mail/Fax solution.
This would include order acknowledgments through our E-Commerce site, invoicing,
and advance ship notices.  Taking a quick review I found 32 different companies
with E-Mail/Fax solutions.  Has anybody out there enabled BPCS to E-Mail/Fax?
If so what product was used and why the selection of the product?  There are
both hardware and software solutions, what are the advantages of one over other.
We do use AFP for forms overlays.
