Have you considered using Business Objects or Cognos with
SSA's Jumpstarts to meet you end user's reporting and
data extraction needs?

I would like a product that for computer literate users is easier to use
and learn, has good security, control for interactive vs batch, ability to
report or chart the data.

are thinking about getting Sequel.  Why are you moving away from it?
