Dear All; I am trying to make report like EIS for our executive. Reading from your conversation regarding to reporting from AS/400 data in client was very interesting and helpful. Now I am trying to use ODBC from Client Access to query our information in BPCS at AS/400. I am also studying to use ASP (Active server pages) to display this data. We use VB Script to create the ASP. If you are familiar with Java you can try by it. The reason we use ASP is 1. We need the information which can drill down until the detail from the summary and user friendly. 2. Every computer has browser. We do not need to install our client program. 3. Security on ODBC to prevent user to change the data. Access is very dangerous. This is a very easy to learn Query software. So end user may be can do it. Any comments are welcome.
