don't hold me to this as i am not the expert! in windows click on 'settings'. then find the ODBC icon. click on it. then find the ODBC DSN that you want to configure. when you click on it there should be several tabs across the top. go to the other tab and select it. at the top are three buttons that allow you to configure the DSN as read-only or full read write. >>> jkahsay@hotmail.com 05/05/00 10:06AM >>> Hi how do you set read only security for a pc using ODBC to access files in the AS400?
