That's what I thought. Does anyone know which files are involved?

The only way is through either DFU or DBU.

We must do an exceptional month-end close in BPCS 6.0.4. We need to
change
the current period ending date, but there are already transactions
within
the period, which means the maintenance program disallows
maintenance of
the period. Does anyone know how to best get around this?

        Thanks,
        Charles Wilhelm
