You are certain this is actually Client Access locking up and not a
performance issue with waiting for the Order Entry validation program to
complete processing? :-)

What does the user's session look like from WRKACTJOB - is there any CPU
activity on the job or does it see the job as disconnected? Have you checked
that your TCP/IP network is not dropping connections to the AS/400? Does
this happen to any other users of Client Access, or just people processing
orders? (Maybe the people entering large orders mention it only because they
are losing lots of work, but people who have this happen at other less
inconvenient times are not mentioning it and are just restarting the job?).

Is this happening before the order is posted at all and just during the
entry of the lines? I doubt this is directly related to BPCS itself, only
because you are running a standard emulation doing standard display file
processing. I would check the network and the status of the job as the
AS/400 sees it. Make sure the Order Entry folks don't have any special
keyboard mapping set that is somehow close to other keys and is accidentally
triggering one of the other Client Access functions as someone else
mentioned, for group jobs or the like.

Thanks
