We are a very e-mail intensive company.. (the users would probably prefer
not to have BPCS open) ..

all joking a side, they only have outlook and BPCS open .. we have tried not
using e-mail on Saturday's and machines have still locked up ...

        Don't run Outlook (or most any email program) while running BPCS -
we cut 
down on a good portion of lockups when we told the users not to have their 
email program open.  Moving towards a Windows NT also helped, as did adding 
memory (an expensive solution!).
