You can also : CHGPF FILE(BPCSF/ZEF) FRCRATIO(1) this is an old issue on 6.0.04 MM, that causes loops with ORD703B because of corrupted records in the file and you'll have timeouts. It is the error log file for Order Entry, (not sure what practical purpose it serves) - but if it gets lots of records in it, it will eat up time during order entry. Logicals should not be built over it, even if DBMON suggests it, as this is usually a sign it has too many records and should be cleared out instead (rather than adding overhead of maintaining logicals against a file that has no real business use). Arrange a job to clean it up (CLRPFM) periodically when users are not on the system (such as right after backups before restarting the system). Hope this helps. +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +--- +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +---
