To all, Just so you don't get caught like I did, be aware that your permanent BPCS keys INCLUDE the system model number. We did an MES from a 9402 model 400 to a 9402 model 720 which means I kept my same IBM serial number. It vaguely rang a bell that model number is part of the key but when you do the serial number bit only once, it's just not something you think about. I had kept the same serial number & I figured all was okay. All the other licensed (non-IBM) applications I have ONLY use serial number. So, with them I had no problems. BPCS uses serial number & model number so I have to request new permanent BPCS keys. That will take them a few days to get back to me (at least it did originally 2 ½ years ago) unless I push for some temporary keys. The one thing I should also mention is that this machine is my test/dev box so it is not like my production machine is down. Still a lesson learned & not to be forgotten in the future. Some words of wisdom to anyone else thinking of doing what we did. Dennis "One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done." -- Marie Curie "I love deadlines.
