The initial statement ("you cannot validate the BPCS package") is accurate because you do not validate software per se. You validate the processes and procedures a company has in place to utilize software in a pharma business. Thus, no software can be validated because software is just a TOOL. Hair splitting? Maybe. But you really can't knock BPCS (or any other package) in this regard. Some packages are easier to validate than others, but I know of many "FDA validated" BPCS installations at Pharma sites.
