Genyphyr, Glad to see your are still plugging away on the AS/400 help line. We have not talked in quite some time. Read through your BMR write up & did what was suggested: I gave QPGMR *ALL authority to the QSYS/QSYGETPH object - on both machines. I still don't know why I would have to do that on my V4R4M0 machine because it would IPL the NEWI daemon correctly. I did it so both machines were the same in this regard. Not to be picky but there is no WRKOBJAUT command - at least in V4R4M0 & V4R2M0. It is WRKOBJ, then Option 2 to Edit Authority. I will probably not get a chance to test this out until this next weekend but in my case, I think it should solve my problem. Thanks for your response. Used command WRKOBJAUT to give the user profile *ALL authority. <SNIP> +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +---
