Hey Folks, I meant to post this a few weeks ago when I last ordered Y2K BMR's for 6.1.00 BPCS using 6.1.00 ADK, but got busy and forgot. I just discovered that there are 15 _MORE_ Y2K BMR's for 6.1 since my November 15th shipment, and it reminded me to post this. The problem may be fixed now, I'll let you know when my shipment arrives... If you're loading Y2K BMR source into ADK on the AS/400, you'll probably get a message stating that "Release (blank) invalid: Cannot restore from later release." This is a bug in the way the BMR source was created and, to my knowledge (dated to an 11/15/99 shipment), SSA has not yet fixed their distribution programs for it. The way to fix this is to use DBU or DFU to edit file SVO in the ASSETSAVE library, and change field SVVERS (that's two "V"'s, third from the end of the record) to read "V6.10" without the quotes. BMR source should then restore correctly using AS/Set save/restore functions. This was a problem for me in both October and November at two different accounts with two different sets of Y2K BMR's, one full client, the latter mixed mode. Hope this helps... Happy Holidays!
