We use spooled file tools, a bit of shareware that we paid (I think) $50.00
for. See http://www.bvstools.com for details.

This utility (which runs on as/400) easily copies spooled files to document
folders on your AS/400. It will copy to straght text, or HTM as you
desire.

I am curious. Why should there be no installations on AS/400? You'd have
to copy the spooled files to document folders anyway. This just makes it
easier. A virtual no-brainer, as it were.

If you run client access, you can get to the QDLS folder on your as/400
through windows explorer and copy the resulting PC document anywhere you
want. Or you can access it in Excel and run the text wizard over it.
