We have a green-screen application which we use at V604 instead of OLM. As far as I know, OLM does not allow loadbuilding with partial lines. We also do not use WHM. Our flow of events is: 1. Pick release ORD550 2. Pick confirm ORD570 Alternatively to ORD570 we have a green-screen program which simplifies the pick confirm process using 1 panel. Changing hard allocations is very very easy with this program. There is only one panel for users to worry about. 3. Allocate confirmed quantities to pallets or containers (New pgm). Pallet label generation optional. 4. Build loads / ship confirm (new pgm). Shipping documents are produced (user exit to your own bespoke programs) and load is optionally invoiced. 5. Billing BIL500 if not already invoiced in step 4 With this program, a TRUCKLOAD is a load is a shipment. The load build routine asks for up to 5 routes, one carrier and truck capacity (KG only). It then presents the user with all the relevant pallets created in step 2. Any of these pallets can be selected for the load. It is possible to delete the load completely and rebuild it. Prior to load build, it is possible to add items to a pallet or delete the pallet and re-build it. The programs update the BPCS database according to BPCS logic. There is a new ALLOCATED PALLETS file and our own load sequence no. BPCS itself is not modified.
