I have recently been going through the same process at several clients and 
as far as I can tell "UNISSUED" is the only automatically generated entry to 
RREF.

Most likely, the "DISCOUNTS" you are seeing were entered by the A/R clerk on 
the reference field of ACR300.

Well since you were so helpful on the 'UNISSUED' value of RREF in the RAR, I
have another one.  (As you can tell I'm working on an A/R reconciliation
problem.)  We just ran across a customer statement with two items on it
where the RREF is 'DISCOUNTS'.  This one is totally new to me!  Can anybody
help with how it gets there and what it means?
