Be very careful ... when you change BPCS data base files via SQL or DFU, you 
are going outside of the BPCS software.  El Typo can cause serious harm.  
Using SQL & DFU should only be in an emergency to repair accidental damage, 
not normal practice to change BPCS records.

Check the sign - are the two entries positive & negative same number?  
Accounting normally uses double entry book keeping ... every entry is 
supposed to get dual postings.

That is a separate issue ... state your hardware model details & type of 
processing you are doing & I am sure many performance experts will have great 
advice.
