We too are also converting from BPCS 6.02 to BPCS 6.1 on the AS/400 System.
My question is: What makes IDCS, Intelligent Data Conversion System
utility/software different from SSA's conversion Utility/software that comes
with the upgrade?

I have also have found some problems in the SSA conversion utility/software.
One of the problems is that the files that are greater then 1 million
records does not convert - It has to be done manually (CPYPFM - Command) -
Has anybody else experience this? If so, what did/will you do? Did you
change the SSA Conversion software to override the message that gets
answered automatically for file increments?

In summary I have found the BPCS Conversion tools supplied by the upgrade
work very well and I have done several conversion of our BPCS 6.02
production system to a BPCS 6.1 test system before we will implement in
October 99.

Thanks

Tim Baker
