Perhaps you should check into either object or user authority for the NEWI daemon. Or: MR Number:51795 Priority Code:B Version Reported:6004 Platform Reported:AS400 Program:OMS Origin Code:I Completed Date:00-00-00 Rejected Date:00-00-00 Rejected Reason: NEWI2.4.2 JOBD of User Profile In OMS Newi version 2.4.1, the JOBD used to run the daemon job, the user's personal world (daemon) and the BPCS applications on the NEWICSTUB jobs was always the NWIJOBD in the NEWI library. With NEWI version 2.4.2 delivered in the July cumulative, job submission off of the original listening daemon changed. Now the job runs under the name of the actual user profile logging into BPCS. This is a good thing, however, it is now instead using the JOBD on the AS/400 user profile who is logging into BPCS to control the subsequent jobs, instead of the NEWIJOBD. This is confusing to administors and harder to control, since users could have varied job descriptions.
