On question # 2, I have seen that job go into an indefinite loop fairly frequently in 6.0.02 and 6.0.04. The reason we found for the looping of the job was duplicate ECL lines. We also were able to trace at least a one possible cause at the last company I was with (there are a lot...check OGS on ORD700 and duplicate lines), it was using the F5 remove deleted lines in ORD700. Of course this was something that could not be duplicated 100% of the time but it happened frequently enough for us to instruct people not to use it. FYI, On a slightly better note (probably won't help you though) I have been doing some preliminary testing on ORD700 on version 6.1 MM and it seems much improved. The layout of the screens have been made a little more user friendly (of course they had a lot of room for improvement) but so far I haven't run into the general instability problems that seemed to be a regular occurrence in 6.02-6.04. Keeping my fingers crossed! Can anyone tell me how to 'unlock' andorder which is 'In use at another workstation' when the 'in-use' field on the ECL and ECH files are not set to 'Y'. This happens when a COM session crashes or when we have to cancel an occurance of ORD701B (see 2) 2. Most of the occurances of ORD701B (COM order pos) run quickly but occasionally this job runs indefinitely - we have let it run for up to 10 hours without completion and end up cancelling it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Andrew +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +--- +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +---
