You might look into what EDI has to offer - before we abandoned EDI, we had a
customer that wanted to pay for invoices via electronic funds transfer &
apparently that can be done with EDI, but we never followed up on figuring
out exactly how it works.

I recognize that is not exactly the same thing as Credit Card validation.

Various outfits that sell BPCS modifications have customer orders & shipping
in their suites, such as

http://www.johnson-schley.com = JSMG has BPCS 405 CD enhancement to track
shipping freight $
http://www.unbeatenpathintl.com/bpcsconsulting.html - we are enthusiastically
using their BPCS 405 CD manuals right now & there is a huge list of BPCS
enhancements listed on their web site

I have not checked these others recently for their offerings, but there might
already be an add-on that is close to what you need.

http://www.nexgeninfo.com/ - we get their newsletter & it has great ORD stuff
http://www.e-systemsinc.com = Scruggs mentioned in the EDI thread
http://members.tripod.co.uk/BPCS/index.html = documentation source
http://www.Precision.ie = conversion resource
http://www.crowechizek.com/ = the consultants we used
