If you want to stick with green screen I would recommend BPCS 405 CD. 
It is Y2K complaint.  This version will still require a bigger machine. 
Perhaps up to 4 times what you got. 

If you went with a 6. version of BPCS you would need a lot more maybe 18 times or more what you have.

BPCS 1.0 was originally designed to run on a System 38 right?
Do you have heavy modifications to?
