Tom http://www.year2000.com/y2kusergroups.html This is the site that REALLY KNOWS how to show off User Groups - what a shame it aint AS/400 or BPCS - it is a directory of Y2K User Groups around the world at the Year 2000 Information Center. The names of the groups are meaningfully structured - like Midwest Manufacturers, or Timbuktoo Health Care Workers, or Association of State & Local Government Year 2000 Problem Solvers - you can sort by type of industry or where in the world or the profession like programmers or accountants - then when you find a user group that seems to be somewhat close to your location & interests, there is a screen of contact information in a standardized format - schedule of meetings where (e.g. NAME of Restaurant & 3rd Thursday 7pm), address of organization, e-mail for officers, brief statement of purpose of group & membership benefits - everything you might want to know to decide whether or not to participate - if they have a web page you can link to it from here.
