An update: I reported a minor problem with printer control characters showing up in documents during my endorsement of SPLTOOL, a program by Brad Stone that, among other things, copies AS/400 Spooled files to HTML documents. Brad contacted me by email and has identified this as a problem in our default on the CPYTOPCD command. Our translation table does not default to QSYS/QASCII. He has placed a service pack on his web page, ST121498, which addresses this. I happen to think that's pretty damn fine service at any price, but for fourty five bucks, you can't beat it! The URL for SPLTOOL (and Brad's other fine shareware products) is http://prairie.lakes.com/~bvstone/as400sw.html --------------------------- Christopher J.
