Hello. I have seen your messages on the two BPCS users forums (list/web).
I think I have something that might be of interest to you from a consulting
standpoint.

There is a product called Atlas which enables real-time order entry, order
status, product inquiry, etc. over the Internet (or direct dial) for
companies running BPCS on an AS/400. The generic equivalent for those
running other ERP or custom programming on an AS/400 is called Atlas/DB2.
Besides the fact that it can be used by customers, it can also be used by
Sales people and internally, by Customer Service Reps. (much more intuitive
than green screens)

What I thought might really interest you is that Atlas solves the slow
performance problems of BPCS v6. It does this because no matter how many
people are on Atlas and entering orders or checking order status, it runs as
only one job on the AS/400. If this sounds like something that you would be
interested in hearing more about please contact me. I can send you some
product brochures or we can talk technical and get into how it works.

Thanks,
Elisabeth Durkee
