Dean, The Access Paths you publish are not the document I refer to on OGS, but they may help. The document I refer to considers the configuration of the AS/400 memory and other general Tuning tips. Although the Access Paths you mention may help with performance, I am assuming they came from one specific BPCS installation. By using the STRDBMON command and analyzing the output, you can find the Access Paths specific to your own installation. These may be the same, however the SQL Optimizer acts differently at the various O/S levels, and the configuration and usage of your own database may necessitate a different set of Access Paths. IBM has supplied many PTF's to improve the performance (and stability) of SQL. V4R2 certainly appears to be better than previous releases. Along with Cumulative PTF releases from IBM you can get Database Group PTF's. These are PTF's specifically developed by the Database team in Rochester. Hope this helps.... +--- | This is the BPCS Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to BPCS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to BPCS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to BPCS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: dasmussen@aol.com +---
