WE USE AN AUTO SCHEDULER and found the same situation with the dtaara
having packed data. We wrote a program to put into the data area the
exact information it needs. Also we have modified programs (cl) to
allow the job to run in batch. It takes a lot of work to figure out
what BPCS needs, but with DEBUG etc., you can achieve success.

We use the ROBOT product for scheduling jobs and have
encountered problems
with the LDA of the submitted job not containing some
variable (ie WSID)
that BPCS needed. We use SYS664 and SYS656 to correct
this problem.

                Currently AS/400 (V3R7) BPCS 4.0 migrating to 4.05CD
