We are using 6.02 on oracle, unix, HP and have formed a user group with other BPCS unix users. Your company may be interesting in joining us. To my knowledge none of us are planning to switch to AS400's and are trying to build "clout" with SSA.
If you're interested in joining us, let me know.

Subject: Switching from HP9000 to AS/400
We are running 6.02 on an HP/9000 (database on a DEC). We are awaiting
6.04 so that we can EDI, and get rid of the bridge to our legacy system.
We are also trying to deal with a multitude of problems that they "can't
seem to recreate in Chicago" :-)
My boss - new to both our company and BPCS - has suggested that we move to
the AS400 platform so that we can get better support out of SSA.
My question is twofold:
1) Is this move wise, and will it give us any better support out of SSA?
(The thought is that HP would become platform #3 if NT gets going.)
2) What would it take to move a LIVE 6.02 HP9000 environment to 6.04
AS400? This includes everything from mods (written by SSA), barcoding via
SMGs, mods written by us that run though Oracle, and forms software (Optio)
that also taps into Oracle.
Any information that you could give would be greatly appreciated - as we
need to make a decision soon if we are going to continue in this direction.
-Christine
