The company I work for, Nexgen, has a Y2K conversion tool for BPCS and PRMS
called Focus. I'm doing system testing for several of our clients . We
simply do a chgjob date (010100) for interactive testing and chgjobd for the
job description that batch jobs run under and change the job date.
Obviously this will only test the BPCS application and not OS/400 itself.
Check out this link if you still feel you need to change the system date
http://www.as400.ibm.com/as400mag/jan98/tips.htm It gives a good run down
of all the issues you should be aware of when changing the AS400 system
date.

We run tests both before and after the century and make sure any date
ranges work across the century. I have heard of some problems with the SSA
key when changing the dates but I haven't experienced any myself. If you do
have a problem the SSA Helpline should be able to give you a temporary key.

BTW, if your not satisfied with 4.05CD, our product is working very well.
It will even convert any modified code you have and we provide unit and
system testing for BPCS. You can find us at www.nexgeninfo.com (Sorry,
had to get a plug in!)
