We are trying to set up OLM C/S 6.0.02 PLF+++. The problem we face is
configuring freight rates for the thousands of ship to addresses we have.
OLM wants freight rates and distances for each zip code we ship to. We
have facilities in two states and one in Canada. There seems to be no way
to actually enter a freight charge manually to an invoice once OLM C/S is
turned on. We now get our charges from the proprietary rating software
each trucking company provides, but entering each and every
rate/class/discount for every carrier we use AND the distance between each
of our facilities and every ship-to address seems a bit daunting. Has
anyone figured out a way to beat this? Is there someone who sells
zip/postal code distance matrices that can be stuffed into BPCS? Any help
appreciated.
