Aaahhh I wish for the simplicity of an LPP and options, but alas, no they are not features in the sense that they show up on the display licensed program list. Base WAS does yes, but not the supplemental products.

I am so glad Zend decided to use the Licensed Program and PTF route to load and update Zend Server. It's so much easier than WAS.

Yes WAS uses a PTF, but then you have to update the installation manager, then run the script to apply all the changes to the server while it's down. That can take "some minutes" as Larry likes to say. That process is nearly as awful as the original installation. If you get an error which happens quite often, you have to be a Java Guru to figure out what went wrong and correct it. Usually it's a misspelling of one of the options, or a missed dash or something like that, but it's a bit of a task to find it.
