Actually Booth, If I understood your requirements correctly, there have
been several technologies that match your criteria. The CGI engine from
Giovanni, at easy400.net is closest, but PHP with the Zend Server CE
edition does as well. I think you are trying to put up web pages
without learning additional skills ( or the very least amount of skills
you can get away with ) which is simply not today's world. Pick a
technology, ( Jon listed several ) learn it, and use it. No religion
needed since it really does not matter which one you choose. Pick the
one you like best and go for it.
