herewith some more dope.

if i ENDTCPSVR(*WEBFACING), it throws an error straight away.
"The following error ocurred while the application was running :
Error occurred while establishing connection with the WebFacing Server on 
the host."

Possible causes: The Webfacing server may be down, or the tcp port 4004, 
specified by the web application, is not configured and assigned to 
WebFacing tcp services on host AS400. Please contact the web-site 
administrator."



When I start the *WEBFACING server,  it never throws that screen, just "hangs"

The '-v v' log does not seem to show anything as broken.
