That is just an Eclipse thing to pull a view of the Window, nothing to do with the view content I don’t believe?

Thomas, I think if you poke about in the API there is a method to create a new edit session, or at least I know of another plugin developer doing such a thing but I will admit that I have not looked into how to do it 😉

It is possible to separate an editor view by dragging the tab away from
the main window - does that suggest a way to show it separately when you
open it?
